Who We Are

DW Consulting Services is based in Ayrshire, Scotland and operate throughout the UK.

David Watts founded DW Consulting Services in 2023 to support clients with pragmatic safety advice to manage their process hazards and achieve regulatory compliance.

David studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, achieving a Masters with Merit in 2015, and began working in FMCG facilities around the world as a consultant based in Germany. In 2018 he returned to the UK and became the Food & Drink sector lead for a leading UK safety consultancy, where he conducted 100+ DSEAR/ATEX assessments at client sites (hazardous area classification and risk assessment), developed and delivered training courses, and was involved in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) workshops across a range of industrial sectors, specialising in bulk solids handling and combustible dust hazards.
